I’m Dayton Hyde, a Photographer, Videographer, and Media Producer. I’m an 18-year-old high school senior, and my journey with photography started back in 2022. I picked up a camera after seeing some friends doing it and instantly became curious. At first, I didn’t know anything about cameras, no clue about settings, angles, or how to capture a moment, but I spent long hours learning everything I could. Over time, I developed not just a passion, but a skill set that grew into a business. Today, I take photos and videos professionally for my school and clients. I run my own media business, producing work that captures energy, emotion, and storytelling through images and video. Transitioning into video was a whole new challenge; tracking fast motion and crafting high-quality content took practice, but now it’s one of my favorite ways to create lasting memories for others. Outside of the media, I’m also an athlete. I play football and basketball, and I run track, which gives me a unique perspective when covering sports. I know the action because I live it. I’m also a huge car enthusiast. While you won’t see car photography on my page just yet, that’s coming soon; stay tuned. I’m proud of the work I’ve done and excited for what’s ahead.
